woodruff flavored cream cake
You need:
for the cream:
- ☼ 2 of bags of Dr. Oetker Goetterspeise Waldmeister (Waldmeister = woodruff, you can find them in some European stores)
- ☼water
- ☼1 bag of whipping cream stabilizer (or 1 bag Dr. Oetker Sahnesteif)
- ☼30g sugar (optional)
for the cake base:
- ☼1 bag of vanilin sugar
- ☼125g flour
- ☼100g starch
- ☼150g sugar
- ☼3 eggs
- ☼3 teaspoons of baking powder
- ☼baking pan
- ☼parchment paper
preparation of the batter:
Mix the flour, starch, sugar, eggs, vanilin sugar and baking powder together and add some water so that it is neither too liquid nor too solid. Cover baking pan with parchment pater and pour the batter inside. Bake for around 30 min at 180°C. When it looks good, take it out of the oven and let it cool down.
Prepare the woodruff jelly (Goetterspeise) according to the instructions on the package. If you want you can add some extra sugar. Whip the cream and mix the woodruff jelly in. Let it cool.
When everything has cooled down you spread the cream on the cake base.
Enjoy!
